Install the Cisco Secure Client
Cisco Secure Client provides security to user devices on any network, whether the device connects to private resources using Zero Trust Access or VPN, or is securely connected to the internet using DNS-layer security and the secure web gateway (SWG). Deploy Secure Client on your organization's user devices that meet the client's minimum operating system requirements.

Prerequisites
- Full Admin user role. For more information, see Manage Accounts.
- Administrative privileges on the user device.
Download the Cisco Secure Client Pre-Deployment Package
Install Cisco Secure Client packages for Windows and MacOS.
- macOS—
cisco-secure-client-macos-5.1.0.136-predeploy-k9.pkg
- Windows—
cisco-secure-client-win-5.1.0.136-predeploy-k9.msi

Procedure
- Install the Cisco Secure Client on any user devices in your organization. Client module options (VPN, Zero Trust Access, etc.) deploy with the package. For more information about the Cisco Secure Client, see Cisco Secure Client (including AnyConnect) Administrator Guide, Release 5.1.
- For VPN and Internet Security, deploy profiles (configuration files.)
For Zero Trust Action enrollment by invitation, you do not need to distribute a configuration file.
