Troubleshoot and Monitor File Inspection and Analysis

General Troubleshooting

When File Inspection is enabled, and Secure Access does not present a block page when expected:

  • Check to be sure that the rule that matched the traffic has the web profile that has file inspection and analysis enabled.
  • Ensure that the rule that needs to match the traffic is above other rules in the policy that the traffic might also match.
  • Confirm that a required certificate is installed. For more information, see Certificates for Internet Decryption.

Wait at least five minutes before testing again after any policy changes to ensure enough time has passed for the changes to be replicated throughout the Secure Access infrastructure. If problems persist, try clearing the local browser cache on your machine, or even your machine's DNS cache (a reboot will accomplish this).
