Manage API Keys
Private Preview
The Secure Access API keys and Key Admin API keys enable you to interact programmatically with your instance of the Secure Access platform. You can create an API key and secret for each type of key and manage all of your organization's API keys in Secure Access.
- API Key—An intent-based Secure Access API key with a configurable key name, description, expiration date, and key access scopes. The API key description is optional.
- KeyAdmin API key—An API key that you can use in a program or script to create and manage your organization's Secure Access API keys. The KeyAdmin API key has a configurable key name, description, and expiration date, and key access scopes. The key access scopes are limited to the management of Secure Access API keys. The API key description is optional.
Your API key and API secret are credentials that enable you to authenticate to Secure Access and create short-lived API access tokens.
Note: API keys, passwords, secrets, and tokens allow access to your private data. You should never share your credentials with another user or organization.
