Monitor File Inspection and Analysis Activity
There are several places to monitor file inspection and Secure Malware Analytics activity.
Monitor and Review File Inspection and Analytics
To review inspection activity at any time, use the Security Activity and Activity Search reports.
Monitor and Review Secure Malware Analytics
Your Secure Access licensing package includes access to a version of the dashboard in Secure Malware Analytics.
To review submitted files and Secure Malware Analytics activity, sign into Secure Malware Analytics.
The URL that you sign into depends on the sandbox region you chose the first time you enabled the Secure Malware Analytics feature in Secure access:
- If you chose Europe, use https://panacea.threatgrid.eu/login.
- If you chose North America, use https://panacea.threatgrid.com/login.
The first time you enable Secure Malware Analytics in a security profile for either internet or private access, you set up credentials to access Secure Malware Analytics. You cannot use your Secure Access credentials to sign into Secure Malware Analytics.
For information about how to use Secure Malware Analytics, see the online help in Secure Malware Analytics.
Depending on your licensing package, you may not have access to all features in the Secure Malware Analytics dashboard. If you are a Secure Malware Analytics Cloud customer and have access to the full functionality of Secure Malware Analytics, you can link your Secure Access account to your Secure Malware Analytics Cloud portal. For more information, contact your account manager or Secure Malware Analytics support.
Monitor File Submission Limits
If your licensing package limits the number of files that Secure Access can submit to Secure Malware Analytics, you should monitor file submission rates to ensure that potentially harmful files are analyzed. To do this, sign into Secure Malware Analytics using the credentials you set up the first time you enabled Secure Malware Analytics in Secure Access.
The file limit applies to each rolling 24 hour period. At the end of the rolling 24 hour time period, the file quota is cleared and submissions start again—if the file limit is reached; otherwise, submissions continue unabated. To remove the limit, contact your account manager.
To determine your current licensing package, navigate to Admin > Licensing. For more information, see Determine Your Current Package. See also Cisco Secure Access Packages.
For more information about how to use Secure Malware Analytics, see the online Help in the Secure Malware Analytics dashboard.
