About Experience Insights

Experience Insights is a module in Secure Access that enables you to monitor your end users' digital experiences when they access corporate resources. Examples include monitoring the memory use and network bandwidth of specific endpoints and the network performance of your organization's collaboration application.

Having visibility into the issues that can impact the employee experience is particularly important today as hybrid workforces move on and off the network and more apps and services exist in the cloud.

Experience Insights leverages the digital experience monitoring (DEM) technology, which measures the real-time performance and availability of applications and services that IT operations teams can use to resolve issues quickly and improve employee productivity. The module is integrated with Cisco ThousandEyes, a SaaS product that measures network performance and delivers automated insights for digital experiences across the network.

Data-Retention Schedule

Experience Insights retains user data for 4 days, unless you have one of the following licenses:

  • Essentials license: 14 days
  • Advantage license: 30 days
