Prerequisites

Cisco Secure Client provides security to user devices on any network, whether the device connects to private resources using Zero Trust Access or VPN, or is securely connected to the internet using DNS-layer security and the secure web gateway (SWG). Deploy Secure Client on your organization's user devices that meet the client's minimum operating system requirements.

Secure Access Requirements

• Full Admin user role. For more information, see Manage Accounts.
• Administrative privileges on the user device.

System Requirements

The Cisco Secure Client supports all vendor-maintained, generally available releases of an operating system unless otherwise noted. For more information on the Cisco Secure Client and supported operating systems, see Release Notes for Cisco Secure Client (including AnyConnect), Release 5.1.
