Set Up Experience Insights

This topic explains the tasks you must perform to set up Experience Insights, which include:
- pasting your OAuth Bearer token.
- choosing your organization's collaboration application.
- registering ThousandEyes on your end devices.
System Requirements
To install and run the endpoint agent, you must meet ThousandEyes system requirements.
Prerequisites
- Recommended: You installed the ThousandEyes endpoint agent on all endpoints in your organization.
- You must have set up RAVPN. For instructions, see Manage Virtual Private Networks.
- You must have an OAuth bearer token that you copied from the ThousandEyes application.
- Note: You must have a Cisco ThousandEyes account with administrator access to generate the token. For instructions on generating and copying the token, see Generate OAuth Bearer Token.
Procedure
- Navigate to Experience Insights > Insights Management> Management.
- On the Experience Insights landing page, click Connect ThousandEyes.
- Read the onscreen instructions in the wizard.
- Click Next.
- Paste the OAuth bearer token you copied from the ThousandEyes application.
- Click Authorize.
- Click Next.
- A confirmation message displays.
- Click Next.
- Choose your organization's unified collaboration application.
- Click Next.
- Copy the ThousandEyes agent registration script section for your operating system.
- Click Done.
- Run the script on a command line to install the ThousandEyes agent on every endpoint in your organization.
Result: The endpoints are now available in Experience Insights and will begin reporting data. To see the list of endpoints, navigate to: Experience Insights > Management.
