Google Workspace Identity Service

Google Directory services (Google Workspace) integration supplements the Cisco Security for Chromebook client by providing Google Workspace user and Organizational Unit information for each applicable request.

Through the Google Admin console, you manage your users and Chromebooks. A common practice is to create logical groups of users such as Staff and Students, and subgroups such as high school students and middle school students to apply different policies for internet access and content filtering.

If you integrate the Google Workspace Identity Service with Secure Access, the Google Workspace Organizational Units (OUs) and Google Workspace Users are added to the Secure Access policy. For more information, see Integrate Google Workspace Identities with Secure Access.
